Large, balck walnut salad bowl for use and display. The tree from which this bowl was created stool on one of our village streets for many, many years until it had to be sacrificed for street widening. Luckily, I was able to secure much of the wood from this tree to create beautiful wood art. The bowl is food safe. Size: 14x5"

Care of wood salad bowls
After use, wipe clean with mild soap, rince and towel dry. Never place this bowl in a dishwasher. Keep out of direct sunlight. Rarely, will it need reoiling, but if it gets very dry, wipe with butcher block oil - never use cooking oils as these oils never cure and will leave your piece sticky.
